SIMPLE RULES OF EATING UGALI.

Boredom is one of the most dangerous things in my perception. Just the other day, I was almost getting bored, because of iddleness. And you all know an idle mind is the devil's workshop 😂.

I resorted to rummaging through my past school papers and voluminous files that were in my room. I was lucky to come across a jesma assessment test paper. It was of class seven, the yeye 2016. In my school, the Jesma assessment series was among the most dreaded papers for their complexity.

In one of the passages, I found an interesting piece about rules if eating UGALI that I saw it wise to share with you.

Ugali should be eaten while hot, served straight from the cooking pot without even slicing it. It said ugali is nice when served hot, though some health practitioners say it may cause some health problems. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of hot ugali, and in all my ugali meals, I always ensure that I slice the ugali properly to cool down.

Then the next thing I totally agreed with: Eating ugali with a spoon or a fork is a pure insult to the maize mill itself.🤣  It is common knowledge that that the size of the ugali should always be greater than the amount of vegetables or stew, though you should finish both of them at the same time.

You pinch a sizable amount of ugali, carve a small crater in it before dipping it into your vegetables or soup. The meal is eaten continuously with a background of a radio channel platipl some soothing songs.

And lastly, as a rule, the last lump of ugali is for wiping the plate and scooping every remaining trace of stew to conclude your dish. Drink a mugful of cold pure water and rip out a loud belch. And certainly, thin droplets of sweat should be already formed around your forehead.

You can then get some cool fresh air outside. End of class. Just like I told you these papers were hell, now answer this.

Question 33: Flour for preparing ugali can be got from the following EXCEPT:-

A. Maize.              B. Cement

C. Millet.               D. Cassava

Surely, did you see something like that in the passage? Then our teacher of English would whip us thoroughly and repeat, all answers are there in the passage!

Good day folks🤗
